January is National Mentoring Month. Our challenge to the Brainerd area is to wipe out our list of kids that are waiting for a Kinship Partner. We currently have over 50 kids on that list. If you have ever considered becoming a Kinship Partner now would be a great time to give us a call!
Who: Davis
Age: 8
Where: Lives in Brainerd
Interests: Likes all sports; but especially football, basketball, bowling, fishing and has a special interest in soccer. He also enjoys drawing, painting, arts, crafts and board games.
Personality: Davis loves to stay active and he is a very smart young man who does well in school. A positive male role model could help Davis experience some of the guy things he is missing out on. He can be a bit shy at first but warms up quickly.
Dreams and Goals: Davis dreams of being a construction worker and build skyscrapers someday but for now he would like a Kinship Partner as his older brother has a Kinship Partner and he sees the fun they share together.
