To continue its long time support of the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, Mills Fleet Farm announced it will be matching the total donations raised at the Baxter Mills Fleet Farm Thursday.
Stewart Mills III of Mills Fleet Farm, along with Baxter Mayor Darrel Olson, Brainerd Mayor James Wallin, and Nisswa Mayor Brian Lehman, will be ringing bells outside of Mills Fleet Farm in Baxter from 1-2pm on Dec. 22.
“Because Fleet Farm is matching the donations for the day, we hope people will come to just put dollars in the kettle to support The Salvation Army,” said Lehman in a news release.
Volunteers have been ringing bells in front of Fleet Farm this Christmas season as they have done over the past 10 plus years. The Red Kettles and ringing bells raise awareness of those in need in our community. Mills said: “We are happy to see the Salvation Army volunteers in front of our stores and invite our customers to come and support this great organization.”
