DEERWOOD — The 62-year-old Deerwood man who was found dead by law enforcement officials Wednesday in the woods near his home has been identified as Charles Thomas Connolly.
Crow Wing Lt. Dave Larson said the autopsy results found that Connolly died of natural causes.
Connolly had been reported missing at 6:39 p.m. Wednesday by his wife. He had gone out to the woods near his home to dispose of a dead deer and never returned. His wife called authorities.
Deerwood fire and police department assisted the sheriff’s department at the scene.
