Gonna miss ya Doug. You never went far with out your dogs and they're with you still.
THIS does NOT smell like your typical "accident"
I suggest a full investigation needs to take place!

Doug Goetz memory
Doug was a very kind, peaceful man! He never spoke a bad word about any one. And yes he never went any where with out the dogs!!! I still remember the day he got bear and brought that big guy home.. So just to ask any one who writes on this please only say kind words or don't write. Thanks and there is a full investigation going!!! I was there when he took his last breath and was my honor to be there when a GOOD friend passed. Going to miss you so much Doug.... hugs from here to eternaty!!!!!
MAV770?
Everything ok up there MAV? Not sure where you see the conspiracy in this story, but you really sound a bit extreme. Also not sure what the bible quote has to do with a tragic accident. My condolences to the friends and family of this man and his dogs.
good man
he lived just a few minutes from my farm... He put alot of tires on my trucks o'er the years at D&G towing with his sister-- towed my trucks when they broke down and treated every one nice.. He was fairly quiet but a good man-- I always remembered D&G towing as the TRULY local tire shop--- not a fancy parlour but good enough to keep the wheels moving and will sadly miss Doug and and sis who died a bit ago.
dogs
Maybe having two dogs in the truck caused the accident.
Nope
I'm pretty sure that his dogs didn't have anything to do with the wreck. Doug and his family always have had dogs and they've always ridden with them. Very well behaved. I grew up in Pequot and knew his parents. His Dad, George would give you his shirt if you needed it. I don't know that many could say a bad thing about Gutz's. All good folks.
motleylarry
MOTLEYLARRY::: THE DOGS were in the BACK. Keep your mouth shut unless you know the facts. I'm sure you are just jealous that you WILL NEVER be half the man or person Dougie was. He was TOO good for this world & the people in it, CLEARLY. You must have never left Jenkins, MN before I take it....
Thanks NanLee60. Yes, the dogs were his life. He actually had my sweet pup with him. : ( There will never be another man as generous/giving as he was. He was too good, to too many. I was the lucky girl to have him as my Father.. and I would do ANYTHING in this world to have him & the pups back. The world was a much better place with them here with me. Yes, he literally did give the shirt off his back.. if you needed a place to stay, his doors were always open.. even if he didn't care for you. Billy, Nancy, and my Father were the most amazing people out there. D&G Towing was the best place out there.. loyal, honest, & caring just like the family.. GL finding another like that.. unfortunately it still has the same name, Don't let it fool you.. there is a new owner. I hope it's changed soon.. it doesn't deserve that name anymore. Missing you guys more than words can express-Dougy & pups ; (

I am sorry for your loss and can only imagine what your holiday will be like. I travel with my pooches as well and if I go, I want them with me. He sounds like he was truly blessed with many friends. Again, my condolences.
geno
i heard that doug heart exploded
The car must have travelled
The car must have travelled pretty fast to be able to cause so much destruction to the man and his dogs, even when the air bags were deployed. There is just so much the seatbelts and airbags could do if the collision was that violent.
