MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Police say seven people were arrested for blocking traffic outside the U.S. Bancorp building in downtown Minneapolis during a protest by OccupyMN.
Minneapolis Police Sgt. William Palmer says the group set up two tents in the intersection about 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Police asked them to move and when they didn't, officers arrested them shortly before 2 p.m.
At the same time, a crowd of about 100 people were on the surrounding sidewalks. Many were chanting against banks and demanding a moratorium on home foreclosures.
Palmer says the arrests were peaceful and those arrested were booked into the Hennepin County Jail on misdemeanor charges.
It was the first time multiple protesters have been arrested since the group began its self-described occupation of the Hennepin County government plaza on Oct. 7.

It seems that the moderator of this paper deleted my posting but allowed the liberal faction their self serving entitlement to say what they please!
RE: MODERATOR
Cheyenne43,
We do know what a troll is.
Just for kicks, think back at your own commenting behavior (and what was removed) on this page.
pdnet15
Your initial (and irresponsible) comment on this page was removed for suggesting that demonstrators be shot.
Just for kicks Denton,
look back and see what comment I was responding to. I guess the suggestion of violence shouldn't be responded to, eh?
RE: Just for kicks Denton
I did look at the entire page of comments before responding.
How does the old adage go, two wrongs don't make a right?
Your reply was just another attack that led to yet another attack and so on.
There are other methods (see smartguys response) including using the "FLAG AS OFFENSIVE" link under the post and letting us handle it.

Do these people think they are being martyr's for their cause or do they feel being a public nuisence follows the roots of the civil rights movement?
