LITTLE FALLS — Many military families struggle financially when their family member is on deployment.
In an effort to help these Minnesota military families, a fundraiser is taking place Sept. 17 at the Camp Ripley Recreation Center.
The event “Deployed Service Members Benefit” promises to be an evening of enjoyment with emcee host Ron Schara and Raven.
A wide variety of silent and live auction items will be available including: LASIK Surgery, stock car & Porsche race car thrill rides with professional drivers at B.I.R., hunting and fishing trips, two airline tickets, autographed photos by Schara and Raven and more. Sponsor a VIP table and earn a chance to experience the Engagement Skills Trainer using an M-1 Tank or Hummer Simulator.
A wild game meal, featuring pheasant and mallard, will be served with wine that evening. Ticket cost is $60 per person. VIP tickets $100. All proceeds go to the Minnesota Military Family Foundation.
