Brainerd firefighters had a busy weekend
The Brainerd Fire Department handled numerous calls during the weekend, beginning with a call at 12:17 p.m. Friday to Clearwater Estates, which turned out to be a false alarm.
Saturday, firefighters were called at 8:06 a.m. to the Brainerd Regional Human Services Center. The call was for Building 22 and turned out to be a false alarm.
Sunday, firefighters responded to a cut gas line at 4:06 a.m. on the 11000 block of Easy Street and provided standby assistance until 5:04 a.m. Later, at 5:42 p.m., firefighters were called to a garbage can fire on the 600 block of Southwest Fourth Street. The fire was extinguished and firefighters left the scene at 6:05 p.m.
