PILLAGER — The Pillager Family Center announced plans to host a “Touch-a-Truck” fundraiser event.
The event is planned 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Pillager School parking lot. This event is open to all children and their families.
The “Touch-a-Truck” event will provide children an opportunity to climb on, get in, or have a tour of vehicles such as a dump truck, ambulance, police car, fire truck, tractor, back-hoe, semi-truck, cement truck with other vehicles stopping by for a surprise visit. Admission is $2 per person and a lunch is also available for $2 per person including hot dog, chips, and pop.
This event is a fundraiser for the Pillager Family Center programs including Little Huskies Daycare, Fun Stop, and the Home Visiting program.
The Pillager Family Center would like to extend a huge thank you to Hengel Ready Mix & Construction, the Cat Company, Pillager Fire & Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance, Mrs. W. Bell, and B.R. Borders for their support of and participation in the “Touch-a-Truck” event.
