A retirement/brunch Informational seminar is scheduled April 19 at the Town Hall at Camp Ripley, it was announced least week.
The seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m., with coffee followed by breakfast and the seminar at 9 a.m.
Personnel from St. Paul will speak on a variety of topics, including Tri-Care Insurance, Retirement Services and others.
Dick Knopik from Social Security and Paul Froncak from the VA of Morrison County are scheduled to speak. Mary Hegna from Camp Ripley will give information on steps to take and who to call when a spouse passes away. Dave Swantek from Veterans Cemetery will give updates and concerns.
To get your application in at Veterans Cemetery, bring your DD 214 (proof of active duty), marriage certificate for your spouse and fill out an application.
There is no fee for the seminar, but breakfast is $5.50. Spouses are also invited to attend.
Congressman Chip Cravaack will be in attendance for breakfast and to meet and greet military retirees. Cravaack is a former commander in the U.S. Navy.
