The Lakes Area Senior Activity Center will be coordinating the Outstanding Senior Volunteer Citizen of Crow Wing County. If your business or organization has a senior volunteer you would like to nominate, forms are now available at the senior center.
Eligibility criteria is the nominee must be a Minnesota resident, volunteer service must be accomplished after reaching age 65, must be age 70 by June 1, must currently do a volunteer activity that is unpaid and demonstrates commitment to the local community, a previous county winner not chosen as the state winner is eligible; however, a 2011 nomination form must be completed, and you may only nominate one individual per nomination form. Couple nominations will be disqualified. Deadline to submit a nomination is May 31.
