The Crow Wing County Land Services Department scheduled a public hearing to review proposed zoning ordinance at 5 p.m. Feb. 22 in the county board room on the third floor of the historic court house at 322 Laurel St., Brainerd.
More than 100 comments were received during the 60-day comment period. The county board opened the 30-day comment period on Oct. 19, 2010, and on Nov. 16, 2010, extended the comment period to Dec. 20, 2010.
County staff have compiled and analyzed the public comments, responded to each one, and have forwarded a report to the Planning Commission based on the public comments received. This report is available at www.co.crow-wing.mn.us.
The Planning Commission will make a recommendation on the proposed ordinance revision to the Crow Wing County Board for final approval.
