In Crow Wing County the past three years alcohol-related deaths accounted for four deaths and 17 serious injuries. During that time there were 1,749 people arrested for DWI. Can't the Law Enforcement catch some real criminals!! Too much government and waste!!!
no xtra enforcement needed
Put a breathalaizer in every bar and blow before you go. If you are over the limit you call for a taxi or ride with friends, no exceptions.
people need to be responsible
smartjoe73If people did not drink and drive and not use common sense and put other people's lives in danger then the people in law enforcement would not have to work overtime through the holidays. They would be able to spend time with their families people need to start taking time to think about what their actions are doing to others and not just themselves and the "good time" at the moment. Be responsible and do not blame law enforcement for doing their jobs when people are not.
Criminal
smartjoe73- It is CRIMINAL for someone to get drunk and get behind the wheel of a vehicle. It is disgusting and they are REAL criminals. These criminals endanger the lives of every other individual on the road and when there is a crash, the drunk usually walks away while leaving a shattered family in its wake. Do you have some DUI's that you are bitter about, smartjoe? I don't mind law enforcement pulling drunks over one bit.....
Hey dumbjoe...
Who is the person in your family you look forward to seeing the most at the holidays? Is it your parents, an uncle perhaps, or that cousin you spent summers with as a kid. Now imagine the feeling of getting the call that they won't be joining you this Christmas (or ever) because they were murdered by a drunk driver. But that will be ok for you because they aren't criminals.
