The deadline for the Stories of Christmas contest is fast approaching. Those interested in submitting stories have until 5 p.m. Friday.
Categories include kids up to age 12; juniors ages 13-20; and adults, 21 and older.
Winners will receive $50 for first place; $35 for second place; and $20 for third in each division.
Stories should be 500 words or less and can be real or fiction.
The winning submissions, along with a few honorable mentions, will be printed in the Dec. 24 edition of the Dispatch.
