Ray's Promenaders Ray's Promenaders will be hosting a square dance Friday at Baxter Elementary. Tom Allen will be calling Plus at 7:30 p.m. and Mainstream at 8 p.m. Judy Closson and Ed O'Neil will be hosting. The theme is denim night.

Brainerd Legion upcoming events Commander Chris' pancake breakfast will be 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Legion. Adults: $7; kids, $4. Steak date night by Katie Lutz will be Friday at the Legion. Cost: $11 or two for $20.

Singles dance planned All singles are welcomed to a holiday dance from 7:30-11:30 p.m. Dec 29 at the Eagles Club, 124 Front St., Brainerd with live music by Cuyuna Rhythm playing country and classic rock and blues. Cover charge: $5.

Brainerd Garden Club The Brainerd Garden Club will meet noon Friday at the Northland Arboretum for a Christmas potluck luncheon. Debby Floerchinger will present a program, "Build your own terrarium.

Brainerd Legion upcoming events The Post Executive Committee meeting and the Auxiliary Membership meeting will both be 7 p.m. Monday. Country style ribs by the Auxiliary will be served at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Legion. Cost: $8.
