■ Garrison Seniors meeting planned
GARRISON — The Garrison Seniors will meet at noon Tuesday at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church, 27170 Monroe Street, two blocks west of the Super Valu in the city of Garrison. Bring a potluck food item to share and your plates, cups and silverware. The program by Legal Aid Services will follow the meal.
Members planning to attend the Dec. 3 Christmas dinner should bring $5 per person and sign up to reserve their place to be certain adequate food is available. Your 2014 annual $5 membership also may be given to the treasurer either before or following the meeting. Recycling will be held from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Garrison City Hall building. Volunteers will be present to unload your recyclables.
Written program suggestions for 2014 would be appreciated.
■ Trick or treating at Woodland
Trick or treating will be offered from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Society-Woodland, 100 Buffalo Hills Lane, Brainerd. Little ghosts and goblins are invited to come by for indoor trick-or-treating at the Care Center and Samaritan Houses.

Senior dances will be from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at Waukenabo with live music; and at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Little Falls Senior Center for Halloween with music by Jerry B.
■ Crow Wing County Fair Association
The Crow Wing County Fair Association will have its annual meeting Nov. 7 at the Brainerd American Legion. There will be a get together at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. and a business meeting and the election of four board members to follow the dinner.
