Family: Mother, Barb, 2 sisters and one niece
Volunteer activities: Common Goods where he volunteers four days a week and works on special projects. Phillip also volunteers at the Brainerd Hotel and Conference Center and does janitorial work there.
I volunteer because: It is fun and I get to learn work skills.

Adult volunteer of the month Linda Anderson
Hometown: Hallock, moved to Brainerd in 1970.
Family: Husband, Delano, three children, Robert, Kris and Karin, and two grandchildren.
Volunteer activities: Bethany Good Samaritan (auxiliary member since 2004, helps with bingo, delivers mail, making popcorn, Gift shop, beauty shop), RSVP volunteer since 2004, volunteers at the VFW and American Legion and also volunteered at the Moose Lodge .
I volunteer because: I enjoy it and it makes people happy when you do something nice for them.
My most rewarding volunteer experience: Volunteering in the beauty shop and seeing what joy it brings to those who get their hair done.
