■ Christmas with the Lindberghs
event in Little Falls
Step back in time and visit the Lindbergh home in “1918” as first-person living history characters portray family members and hired workers and help as they ready the house for Christmas. See what life was like for the family and how Charles developed interests in aviation, technology and the natural environment.
Come interact and be part of 1918 as you tour the home, talking with family and their staff about why Lindbergh Sr. lost his bid for the U.S. Senate, see recent “improvements” made to the house, learn about the recent end of the “War To End All Wars” in Europe and find out what everyone’s hopes are for the new year of 1919.
The gallery exhibits in the Visitor Center will be open with a special station for kids of all ages to make historic Christmas decorations to take home. Visitors can peruse the gift shop for holiday items where there is a special sale. All visitors receive a special 10 percent discount (MHS members receive a 25 percent discount) on all merchandise for this event.
