Strong female mentor sought for Lexi

Posted: November 6, 2012 - 4:39pm

Lexi is a 4th grader in the Baxter area who has been waiting for a mentor a little over a year. She lives with her grandparents, has no contact with her mom and sees her dad weekly.

She is looking for a female Kinship Partner mentor to have some fun with and would greatly benefit from a positive role model. Lexi does act younger than her 11 years and can act out for attention, but quality one-on-one time would help.

Lexi likes both outdoor and indoor activities including crafts, drawing, painting, cooking, swimming, biking, movies, fishing and camping. However, she has a very open mind and when asked what she would like to do with a Kinship Partner, her reply accompanied with a big smile: “anything”.

Kinship Partners serves families in Crow Wing County, southern Cass County and the Staples/Motley area by providing positive role models to youth from the ages of 5 to 14. We have offices in Brainerd, Pequot Lakes, Crosby and Staples.

For more information about Lexi or any of the kids on our waiting list, call 218-829-4606, toll free at 877-730-5437 or visit our website at www.kinshippartners.org.
