Henry is 6-year-old from Brainerd and is waiting for a mentor. He lives with his mom who is disabled and sees his dad once or twice a month.
Henry is an active and very outgoing kid, who when asked what he liked to do answered, “playing baseball and having fun are the two things I do best”. Other interests Henry has are: bike riding, BMX biking, fishing, basketball, swimming and of course what little boy doesn’t like video games. He would like to learn how to canoe and play hockey.
Henry is tall and looks older than 6. He gets teased at school which has caused some self-esteem and nervousness issues. He is working on a positive self-image. An active male role model is going to help him feel more positive about who he is, as well as give him a chance to do activities he cannot do with his mom.
