Golf was the one thing that Kevin had in mind when he chose to retire in the lakes area. He had learned to play when he was younger, enjoyed the game and had been on a golf team, but hadn’t had the time to pursue his swing. Or that was his excuse that he used to justify playing more anyway!
Dale, a neighbor, invited Kevin to join him playing through the Lakes Area Senior Golf League at 9 a.m. Mondays. He had never played on the Legacy Par 3 course at Cragun’s and really had a great time! Dale mentioned to Kevin that he was welcome to join the center and play every Monday through Sept. 10; that with a membership, players receive a special rate to participate in the league. Cost is $7.50 per player; add a cart for $10, a pull cart complimentary and you play nine holes walking on the Par 3 course. Kevin stopped at the center, paid his $15 membership fee and was ready to enjoy his Monday mornings playing golf!
