Logan is a future firefighter looking for an adult mentor who shares his adventurous nature.
Who: 10-year-old Logan
Where: Brainerd
Interests: Sports, fishing, hunting, model building, snowmobiling, four wheeling, watching movies and playing with animals
Why I want a mentor: “I want to have someone to do activities with me when my mom is too busy. I want some “boy time” because I’m always around girls.”
Current number of children waiting for partners: 18 Girls; 30 Boys
Attention area firefighters, Logan is a bright, friendly, outgoing youngster who hopes to someday be a firefighter (if playing professional hockey or basketball doesn’t work out). A happy, energetic, adventurous guy is just what Logan is looking for. He is hoping that he and his new mentor will be able to do challenging things like rope climbing and trail hiking, or just “normal” things like snowmobiling, fishing, bike riding, playing hockey, shooting hoops and hanging out together.
Logan is thrilled with the idea of having an adult, male friend. Just a couple of hours a week will provide Logan with the “guy time” and activities he craves. Here is an opportunity for you to have fun, share your passion of fire fighting and be a role-model to a youngster who can’t wait to meet you. If you think about it, you’ll realize you are ready to be a mentor.
