January is National Mentoring month. Our goal this month is to “wipe out our waiting list”. Over 50 children are waiting for that special adult to come along to be their friend. Seriously consider becoming a mentor – You are Ready!

What would you like your adult partner to be like? “A woman who is nice, active and likes to swim would be perfect. She should also be willing to talk about my dad who recently died.”
Current number of children waiting for partners: 31 boys; 22 girls
Carly and her younger brother are new to the Brainerd area and are dealing with the recent death of their father. Carly would benefit greatly from being able to spend time each week with a positive, fun adult partner.
