Yesterday, I had stopped out at our State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley, to pay a visit to my fallen brothers, Larry and Kenny Wenzel.
I gazed over the entire large field of fallen soldiers from past wars of WWI, WWII, Korean War, Viet-Nam, Persian Gulf, and the war in Iraq. Fallen soldiers that lay at this cemetery numbers in the thousands.
Each headstone had a large green pine Christmas Wreath, touch with a large Red Bow, which seemed to jump out at you as they leaned and rested on these gray headstones.
Do you have a recent scenic picture that shows the beauty of the lakes area?
Send it to neighbors@brainerddispatch.com for possible publication in the Neighbors section. Be sure to include your name, where you are from, a brief
description of the photo and when and where it was taken.
