Memorable fine arts achievement: “Being manager and director of the Madrigal Dinner (put on by the choir), which was recently held.”
Artist most admired: Mat Kearney.
What’s your job as manager: “I keep track of the money, make sure all our music is sorted out, keep track of our costumes and robes and whenever (Brian Stubbs, the director) is gone I keep everything in line.
What does singing bring to your life: “Singing is a way to express yourself through music. It’s who I am and all the passion with it.”
How do you stay positive: “I’m always happy. It’s just who I am. I look at all the positives in all things I do. Everyone has hardships, but I think it is good to look at the positives in them.”
American Idol fan: “No. I used to be with they had the original judges on it ... but I’m a fan in the ‘X Factor.’”
How did the Madrigal Dinner go: “I loved how our concert and the whole dinner came together. We all worked so hard on it and it’s nice to share our talent with the public.”
Favorite class: Math.
Favorite movie: “A Walk to Remember.”
Favorite TV series: “The Amazing Race.”
Favorite author: Nicholas Sparks.
Favorite song: “Cruise” by Florida Georgia Line.
Worse song ever: “Call Me Maybe.”
Favorite food: Chinese.
Other activities/clubs: Alpine skiing, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and golf. For fun she also likes waterskiing and boating.
