The Cass County Sheriff says that the escaped mental patient is still on the loose and warns citizens to be vigilant. The man is 6-3, weighs 240 pounds and has a cast on his right arm. He is believed to have stolen a pickup and is armed with a knife.

Kelly Frazier of Ironton broke his own course record in winning the 6th Annual Ranger Classic road race, finishing in 24:50. Gwen Sibbers won the women's race in 31:42, followed by Julie Swenson of Bay lake and Turena Johnson of Brainerd.

(Photos) One moment the old Laurel Street bridge was standing (top photo), and the next moment it went crashing into the Mississippi (bottom photo). But the old bridge was tough; workmen had to try three times to get the old landmark to fall.
