2nd annual meatball dinner planned
DEERWOOD—Boy Scout Troop 100 will have its second annual meatball dinner from 4-7 p.m. March 24 at the American Legion Post No. 557 in Deerwood.
Cost for adults is $9 and children 5 and under are $6.
Brainerd Elks Lodge Polish sausage feed
The public is invited to an all-you-can eat Polish sausage, sauerkraut, beans and bread feed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Brainerd Elks Lodge, 215 South Ninth St., Brainerd.

The monthly meeting for the DAV, Crow Wing County Chapter No. 22 will be 7 p.m. Thursday at the Brainerd VFW Club.

NISSWA—The Nisswa Women's Club will meet Thursday at Northern Cowboy Flame 'N' Brew in Nisswa.

Pinetree Patchworkers meeting
BAXTER—Heather Thormonson, a quilter and wool person will present a trunk show 6:30 p.m. Monday at Lord of Life Church.
Thormonson will be offering a class Monday on clothesline bowls. It consists of wrapping fabric around clothesline and making a bowl. The class will be that afternoon from 1:30-5 p.m. Kit for the class is $35 (for members), including 100-feet of clothesline and four fat quarters of Cherrywood fabric. Bring a sewing machine (that does a zig-zag stitch), rotary cutter, thread (gray or color of choice) and scissors. Pay for the class that day.

There will be a presentation on "Healthy, Wealthy and Wise" by Mike Steichen, doctor of physical therapy from Essentia Health, Brainerd.
