A spring social by Chapter DV of PEO will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the home of Jan Morton with Annie Swanstrom as co-hostess.

Crosslake Area Garden Club schedule

CROSSLAKE—The Crosslake Area Garden club meets the third Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. at the Crosslake Community Center. New members are always welcome.

Brainerd Garden Club to meet

The Brainerd Garden Club will meet 1 p.m. Friday at the Northland Arboretum.

Program: Plant sale tips and The Center program presented by DeAnn Barry from The Center.

Hostesses will be Gayle Hertel and Hope Johnson.

Brainerd Elks Lodge breakfast

The public is invited to attend the community breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, March 4, at the Brainerd Elks Lodge, 215 South Ninth St.

Order from the menu. All proceeds go to support Elks programs.

The Center's Morning Club to meet

The Center's Morning Club will meet 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Center, 803 Kingwood St., Brainerd.

Dan Anderson of the Hockey House will be the presenter.

Brainerd Legion upcoming events

The IBEW will meet at 6 p.m. and the Post Executive Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday.

Bob Harting's BBQ rib dinner for $11 will be the special for Friday. Walleye is also available for $11. Serving begins at 5 p.m.

PEO Chapter CJ to meet

PEO Chapter CJ will meet Tuesday at Sue Bevans' home with Betty Green serving as co-hostess.

Program will be by Caren Bedard about our Constitution.

Widowed Friends meeting planned

Widowed Friends will meet 11 a.m. Monday at the Sawmill Inn.

Senior dances

Senior dances will be from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at the Wadena VFW with music by Dale Dahman; and from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Brainerd Blue Room with music by Frank and Fran.

Garrison Seniors to meet

GARRISON—Garrison Seniors will meet noon Tuesday at Light of the Cross Lutheran Church on Monroe Street, two blocks west of Family Foods.

Bring a food item for a potluck lunch. Special speaker from Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department.

WHS class of 1955 to meet

The Washington High School class of 1955, spouses and friends will meet 11 a.m. Monday for lunch at Northwind Grille.

WADENA—The Wadena Whirlaways Square Dancers will host a dance from 7:30-10 p.m. Thursday at the VFW in Wadena.

Theme is St.Patrick's/green and the caller is Tom Allen. Plus dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. and mainstream dancing at 8 p.m.
