Brainerd chapter of IAAP installs 2012-2013 officers

The Brainerd Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) installed Shari Fruechte, Naomi Scott, Colleen Jackson, and Angie Kugel as its 2012-2013 chapter officers. Each will serve a one-year term.

Fruechte, Little Falls, will serve as chapter president for a second consecutive year. She has been a member of IAAP and the Brainerd chapter since 2008 and obtained designation as a certified administrative professional-organizational management in 2009. She has previously served as president-elect and chair of certification and webmaster/public relations for the Brainerd chapter. Fruechte is the administrative assistant at Atomic Learning Inc. and has been in the administrative support field for five years.

Scott, Mission Township, will serve as chapter president-elect. She has been a member of IAAP and the Brainerd chapter since 2010 and obtained designation as a certified administrative professional-organizational management in 2011. She has previously served as treasurer and chair of programs for the Brainerd chapter and currently serves as chair of programs and the chapter’s annual Administrative Professionals Week event. Scott is the administrative assistant at Productive Alternatives, co-owner of Chris Scott Masonry, and has been in the administrative support field for five years.

Jackson, Brainerd, will serve as chapter secretary for a second consecutive year. She has been a member of IAAP and the Brainerd chapter since 1984. She has served in every leadership role within the Brainerd chapter numerous times and currently serves as chair of bylaws and standing rules. Jackson is an accounting technician at Crow Wing County Social Services and has been in the administrative support field for more than 40 years.

Kugel, Ironton, will serve as chapter treasurer. She has been a member of IAAP and the Brainerd chapter since 2008. She has previously served as treasurer and chair of audit, Retirement Trust Foundation, scholarship, and student chapter for the Brainerd chapter and currently serves as chair of financial review, the Foundation of IAAP, and student chapter. Kugel is administrator at Dermatology Professionals PA, and has been in the administrative support field for five years.
