Baxter Clinic hosts grand opening Feb. 25

Essentia Health St. Joseph’s-Baxter Clinic will celebrate its grand opening with a community health fair and soup luncheon Feb. 25.

Brainerd lakes area residents and their families are invited to tour the new 44,000-square-foot clinic and meet physicians and staff who work there. There also will be a health fair and a free soup luncheon. The event is slated 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Baxter Clinic, 13050 Isle Drive, Baxter.

The Baxter Clinic is located southwest of the intersection of Minnesota Highways 210 and 371. Exit Highway 371 at Walmart onto Glory Road and head west. Go past the next traffic signal, turn left on Isle Drive and drive 1.2 miles to the clinic.

The new clinic, which opened Feb. 6, is home to pediatricians, obstetricians/gynecologists and eight family medicine physicians. UrgentCare physicians and staff have also moved to the site. A retail pharmacy, laboratory, radiology services and physical therapy are at the Baxter clinic.

Essentia Health invested $13.5 million, predominantly with local contractors and vendors, to build, furnish and equip the clinic. The convenient site is close to where a growing number of people live, work and shop.
