Three inspirational speakers will share the spotlight of a half-day workshop designed for all levels of management, from CEO to the up-and-coming organizational leader.
Jim Bensen and Rose Ward will join Ted Schick from 7:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 16 at Grand View Lodge for “Recharging Your Leaders.”
Collaborators who call their partnership UPBEAT are sponsoring the event that starts with breakfast and concludes with lunch. UPBEAT is the acronym for Unified Professionals in Business Education and Training.
The partners include Central Lakes College, the Small Business Development Center at CLC, Brainerd Lakes Chamber, Lakes Area Human Resources Association, Lakes Area Safety and Health Organization, and Dept of Employment and Economic Development. The collaborators promise that the trio of high-energy speakers will impart valuable skills focused on vision, engagement and leadership so that attendees will be “recharged.”
Bensen is president emeritus of Bemidji State University.
“He is an inspirational speaker who shares his vision of leadership and its role preparing for the future in this engaging presentation,” said Lisa Paxton, CEO, Brainerd Lakes Chamber, in a news release.
Ward is a worksite health promoter and certified intrinsic coach.
“Rosie Ward is an energetic, vibrant and forceful speaker, one who can move the masses through intelligent thought and inspire change in all of us. You simply go away from spending time with her feeling like she’s given you superpowers,” said Cathy Thompson, cirector of HR, Grand View Lodge.
Schick is a corporate trainer, motivational speaker, and consultant.
