If the Olive Garden in Baxter looks a little different to you, it's not just that it's new to the lakes area.
The much-anticipated restaurant addition to the lakes area isn't the same Olive Garden. The chain changed the look for its new restaurants creating a rustic stone exterior and using a farmhouse look with exposed wooden beams and character of a farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy as a model.

I have loved tennis for years. While I can't keep a ball in the court or serve to save my life, I find the sport fascinating. It's not just the physical effort or stamina required. Tennis is a mental challenge. For singles players, it requires the fortitude to go out on a large court in front of thousands of people without a teammate for comfort or cover. It requires problem solving on a grand scale and at a fast pace. Points and sets may go by quickly. Or a match may hinge on a few points in a tug-of-wills that last for hours or days.

Want to live longer? The American Heart Association (AHA) reports for every hour of regular exercise, a person gains two hours of additional life expectancy. That’s even true, the AHA notes, if you don’t start until middle age.
The good news is you don’t have to get it all in one lump. The AHA says three 10-minute periods of moderate activity are almost as beneficial to overall fitness as one 30-minute session. And just 30 minutes has proven health benefits, the AHA says.

There's nothing better than a good ghost story on Halloween. And in Ironton, the ghost provides a daily photo opportunity — as long as the sun is shining and in the right position in the sky. For the ghost hunter, it's a haunting opportunity.

For moviegoers the recently announced renovations to the Movies 10 in Baxter are coming at a good time but they may be measured by what’s happening about 60 miles to the south.
The Parkwood 18 movie theater in Waite Park is in the middle of a major renovation that will change the movie-going experience.
The Marcus Theatres cinema reports it is renovating every square inch of the place. Major changes are the addition of a restaurant — the Zaffiro’s Pizzeria and Bar.
