The Brainerd Dispatch for the first time ever, Friday made “Today’s Top Ten Front Pages” in Newseum.org, Washington, D.C., the most interactive museum.
What this means is that the Dispatch’s Friday front page was singled out as one of the best pages not only in newspapers in the United States, but newspapers in the entire world!
To see the report go to http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/topten.asp. According to the link, the Top Ten Front Pages were singled out for the creative ways in which they presented a hot topic. Among the papers in the Top Ten were Kleine Zeitung, a newspaper in Graz, Austria; National Post, Toronto, Canada; Rhein-Zeitung, Koblenz, Germany; The State Journal Register, Springfield, Ill.; The Hutchinson News, Hutchinson, Kan.; Lexington Herald-Leader, Lexington, Ky.; The Press of Atlantic City, Atlantic City, N.J.; The Forum
Fargo, N.D.; and Sandusky Register, Sandusky, Ohio.
This is awesome that a small Brainerd newspaper is able to make such a prestigious list.
All I can say is “WOW!”
