Warm your hearts with art on November 10 at the Franklin Arts Center holiday open house. Celebrate creativity and shop for unique gift items ... paintings, pottery, jewelry, glass, mobiles, sculpture, wood carvings, leather-craft, and various one-of-a-kind art wonders!

The Brainerd Area Art Club is having their annual holiday show and sale in the Q Gallery 222. The residents' art gallery will be open. There will be many other open studios on both floors of Franklin Arts Center.

Cleo Kuelbs, Jim Olsen, and Dennis Coryell will provide musical entertainment in the hall near the auditorium from 11am to 2pm.

Other holiday events are going on in the lakes area that same day, so plan ahead, do the holiday crawl, and get in the spirit!! There is the annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival from 9:30am to 4:00pm at Brainerd High School, 702 S. 5th St, use north or south doors, over 150 exhibitors, free admission, and refreshments (sponsored by ISD Community Education). Enjoy the Zonta Christmas House Tour at the Peterson home, 8968 Wise Road, Brainerd Friday, Nov 9, 4 to 7pm, and Saturday, Nov 10, 9am to 3pm, decorated by 24 small local businesses. Tickets are available at The Crossing Arts Alliance and from Zonta members for $8 in advance and $10 at the door.
