Especially in this time of busyness and technological complexity, my writing affords me the opportunity to slow down and listen to that still quiet voice of reason that I find soothing in nature and in meaningful, satisfying relationship with friends, family, and my creator. I value words-their ability to heal or hurt, to expose or inform, to delight and thrill..."
In Celebration of Poetry with Charmaine Donovan is presented by Brainerd Public Library and Friends of the Library. The event is free and all are welcome.
