Brian_SPeterson: About 2 dozen boats off Garrison Sports dock off 169 on Mille Lacs. All clustered together. Must be some fish being caught. #fishing

Brian_SPeterson: With a bit of a chop, should be better fishing in evening. It appeared to be a slow bite earlier across area. Almost too nice weather-wise.

Brian_SPeterson: Walleyes on Big Trout near Crosslake? Possibly. Access is busy. And wind is picking up, creating a bit of chop. Good late-afternoon bite?

Brian_SPeterson: Slow at Ox Lake, too. Zero activity.

Brian_SPeterson: Seeing lots of boaters in Crosslake, but not necessarily anglers.

Brian_SPeterson: Now a later-arriving crowd at Crosslake dam.

Brian_SPeterson: Just small panfish, bass caught at pier at Crosslake dam. One decent-sized pike snapped the line. Just handful of anglers here.

Brian_SPeterson: Big Pine near Crosslake, supposedly a good walleye fishery, very quiet.

Brian_SPeterson: At Breezy Point Resort, worker at the marina says only heard of one walleye being caught. Parking lot at access half full. Too nice to fish?

Brian_SPeterson: Lots of activity around the docks at Cozy Bay. A busy area. Not seeing fish being caught, but am guessing folks fishing here for a reason.

Brian_SPeterson: At Jones Bay on Pelican, guy checking boats says very few walleyes being caught. But no infractions here regarding invasives, which is good.

Brian_SPeterson: Both tiers mostly full at North Long access/parking lot at Merrifield. Anglers staying out. Because of nice weather? Or not catching fish?
