Jordan George (Madison, Wis.), a former forward for the Bemidji State University men's ice hockey team, has signed a professional tryout contract with Tampereen Ilves of the Finnish Elite League (SM-Iiiga).

Bemidji State University senior Logan Kalis (1B/OF/RHP, Little Falls, Minn.) was named Daktronics All-Central Region First Team Thursday, while teammate junior Zach Braun (C/1B, Lakeville, Minn.) was named to the second team.
