The Bemidji State University baseball team earned a pair of victories Sunday in a nonconference doubleheader versus Mount Marty College at the Keno Sports Complex in Tucson, Ariz. The Beavers won 3-1 in game one, then scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to earn a 5-4 extra innings win in game two.
The Bemdji State men's hockey team will extend it's 2013-14 campaign beyond the regular season. At 10-19-7 overall with a 10-14-4 mark in Western Collegiate Hockey Association play, the Beavers have earned the No. 8 seed in the 2014 WCHA Playoffs and will travel to regular season champion Ferris State University for a best-of-three series March 14-16.
