Senior Jaryd Marks (1B/RHP, Cottage Grove, Minn.) recorded a walk-off hit in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded and two outs to lift the Bemidji State University baseball team to a 5-4 victory against Winona State University Thursday in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament.

St. Cloud, Minn. -  St. Cloud State University baseball coach Pat Dolan has announced the addition of Sam Boisner (Albertville, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville H.S./Southeastern Iowa C.C.) to the Husky baseball program.

The future of St. Cloud State University baseball was well-represented at the 2012 Minnesota Lions' All-Star Baseball tournament.  A pair of Husky baseball recruits were part of the All-Star series this summer.

Eugene, Ore. -- Former St. Cloud State track and field star Heather Miller placed ninth in the heptathlon at the U.S. Olympic Trials held in Eugene, Ore., on Friday and Saturday.

St. Cloud, Minn. -- Former St. Cloud State track and field team member Brittney Moffatt was featured in a June 24 article in the St. Cloud Times. Moffatt will be running as part of Venture Expeditions Just Hope Campaign.

St. Cloud State Wrestling held its annual summer youth wrestling clinics this week on the campus at SCSU.  Over 100 youth wrestlers participated in these camps, which were held in the SCSU wrestling room and fieldhouse on campus.

Former St. Cloud State University women's track and field standout Heather Miller has qualified in the heptathlon for the upcoming 2012 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials in Euguene, Ore. on June 29-30.
